Greenery

If you've not visited our Bristol studio before, you may not know that there's a bit of a fondness for green. We have beautiful lime green chairs and matching dividers on our desks, interspersed with a few red swan chairs, red sofas and the odd egg to keep things interesting. But this week, the green has gone a bit further, and some plants have started sprouting up, pretty much all over the place, they're everywhere! Possibly due to all this rain we've been having? Or part of Mike's plan to ...read full story

There were a few red faces in the Bristol studio last Monday, partly due to the glorious sunshine that resulted in Gary and Tom B having a bit of a lobster tinge (Stu must have slapped on some Factor 50 to avoid it!) following the Bristol Media five-a-side football tournament. The boys were in a group with Block, Complete Control, Wildscreen and True Clarity. Despite that, Gary's still with us and is now our Senior Developer and Phil's 'number two', although of course now he has a much mor ...read full story

When a model for the new TG01 handset from Toshiba landed on our desks, we all got pretty excited by its enormous 4.1” screen on a super-slim 9.9mm body. Add to that image processing technology used in the REGZA LCD TVs, 1GHz processor for super-fast performance, stunning movie playback and rich internet browsing, and Toshiba were lucky it was just a model or we may never have given it back. The new handset is targeted at young, sophisticated, mobile-savvy early-adopters (i.e. us) who are ...read full story

This year’s season of the BBC’s ‘The Restaurant’ - devised by Michelin starred chef Raymond Blanc, is being held in our lovely Bristol. Teresa, Marilla, Linsey, James and Amy went to ‘The Summer House’ on the site of the former Deasons on Whiteladies Road. It was a swelteringly hot evening and we were all well up for a delicious meal and a fun night out. We’d been promised that we would enjoy a good meal ‘for little to no money’ by the prod ...read full story
